Devingen is a dynamic intercultural music group that draws from the cultures of the Balkans, the Middle East and beyond, focusing on the rich musical tradition of Anatolia. Devingen aims to bring together acoustic folk instruments such as acoustic drums and kaval zurna with electric saz and synthesizers in a new and provocative musical approach that draws from tradition, in the unity of music. Devingen consists of Sinan Ayyıldız on electric saz; Erberk Eryılmaz on synthesizer, synthesizer and asma davul; Buğra Kutbay on kaval, zurna, balaban, sipsi and other wind instruments; and Alican Öztan on acoustic drums and percussion.

Devingen consists of Sinan Ayyıldız on electric saz; Erberk Eryılmaz on synthesizer, synthesizer and hanging drums; Buğra Kutbay on Kaval, Zurna, Balaban, Sipsi and other wind instruments; Alican Öztan on Acoustic Drums and Percussion. Erberk Eryilmaz, keyboard

Turkish composer and performer Erberk Eryılmaz has taken place in many important halls of the world such as Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, Cuban National Museum of Fine Arts and Washington DC Kennedy Center with his music that aims to carry the energy of traditional music of Anatolia and its surroundings to the concert stage with his creative and dramatic perspective. In 2022, he won a Grammy Award with his producer Judith Sherman for his album "Dances of the Yogurt Maker" and two gold medals in the composer and performer categories at the Global Music Awards.

His works and performances have been broadcast many times on various radio channels such as TRT and National Public Radio in America, and on Performance Today, which has the largest audience in America and reaches approximately 300 radio channels, and his music has been described by the Washington Post as "the energy explosion of a whirling dervish." Eryılmaz's work "Was it the moon or the sun?" will be included on a titanium disc planned to be sent to the Moon in 2023 within the scope of the MoonArts project carried out in cooperation with NASA, Google and the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, and this music will be the first music in the history of the Earth to go to the Moon. The first performance of this work took place in the hangar where the Saturn V, the largest rocket in the history of the Earth, is exhibited at NASA headquarters. As a composer, conductor, pianist and percussionist, he has performed with many important ensembles such as the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony, European Union Chamber Orchestra, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, Gedik Philharmonic, Austin Camerata, Apollo Chamber Players, Carpe Diem, Del Sol and Tesla string quartets, WindSync, ZOFO four-hand duet and Bowen McCauley Dance Company, and with important artists such as Christopher Zimmerman, Andres Cardenes, Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol, İsmail Lumanovski and Asım Kuzuluk. Among the awards and competitions Erberk Eryılmaz has won are the "Diemente Honorary Award", first place in the Van Rooy Musical Excellence Competition, the string quartet competition organized by Carnegie Mellon University with his music called Yoğurtçunun Oyun Havaları ve Miniatures Set No. 5, the Harry G. Archer Orchestra Work Competition with his music called Tepki 2 "fikri hür, vinci hür, irfanı hür". In addition to these, he was awarded the BNY Mellon Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award by the BNY Mellon Company for his artistic activities and work in Pittsburgh in 2014.

Eryılmaz studied at the Samsun Municipal Conservatory, Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, the Hartt School in the USA, Carnegie Mellon University and finally Rice University, where he received his doctorate. Eryılmaz continues his work as a faculty member in the Composition Department at Ankara Music and Fine Arts University.

Sinan Ayyildiz, baglama

He was born in Ankara in 1980. He is originally from Ünye, Ordu. He took advanced saz techniques lessons from Erol Parlak between 2002-2006. After this period, he took part in countless albums, television series and films as a music director, arranger or artist. He released his first album Pangea, which he was the music director and arranger of, with his group Etni-ka in 2009. In the same year, he was invited to the recordings of the Stereognosis project in the USA. He recorded two albums with this project: The Stereognosis project Hybrid album was released in 2011, and the Stereognosis Departure album was released in 2019. He founded the group MESEL in early 2014 and released their first official music video with the song 'Getme', which attracted great attention. After this success, the group performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the London Nour Festival and at the Krutushka Ethnic Music Festival in Russia. After 2015, she gave many concerts and released albums in Turkey and abroad as a duo with artists such as Erol Parlak, Tolgahan Çoğulu, Aziz Şenol Filiz and Salih Gündoğdu. In addition to group projects, she gave solo recitals at festivals such as Ronda Guitar Festival, Berlin Guitar and Mandolin Festival and İTÜ Bağlama Days. She was selected as the artist of the year in the “Contemporary Folk Music” category at the Truva Folklore Foundation 2013 Truva award ceremony and was awarded the Truva award. The artist’s works in the field of “Folk Music” were awarded at the “Sabah Yıldızı Culture-Art Awards” given by Sabah Newspaper in 2018. She completed her doctoral education at İstanbul Technical University Dr. Erol Üçer Center for Advanced Music Studies (MİAM) with her doctoral thesis titled “Methods for Producing Melody Patterns Using Finger Tapping Technique in Saz (Bağlama) Performance”. Sinan Ayyıldız, who continues his music studies in Ankara, serves as an Associate Professor at Ankara Music and Fine Arts University.

Ali Can Oztan, drums

He was born in Ankara in 1992. He started his education in Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Percussion Department with Tarkan Yedican in 2003 and continued with Hakan Yedican from 2006. He studied chamber music with Assoc. Prof. Haşim Yedican. He took part in many national and international orchestras, recording projects, modern ensembles and festivals, especially the Presidential Symphony Orchestra and Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, until he completed his undergraduate education.

In 2015, she graduated from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Percussion Department with a "High Honor" degree. In the same year, she performed Bela Bartok's "Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion" with Can Kıyıcı, Cem Babacan and Başarcan Kıvrak accompanied by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, and she performed the same piece live with Can Kıyıcı at the International Bartok Festival in 2016. In the same year, she took part in the first performance in Türkiye of Fazıl Say's work for piano, percussion instruments and choir "Bells". In the following years, she worked with virtuosos such as Christian Benning, Peter Sadlo (Munich HFMT), Cornelia Monske (Hamburg HFMT), Nick Woud (Concertgebouw), Tom Greenleaves (Gewandhaus), Raymond Curfs (Bayerische Rundfunk), Marinos Tranoudakis (Athens Opera), Emre Kartari (Virginia Commonwealth University). In 2020, percussionist and composer Soner Özer composed "Kombinasyon" in dedication to her. In 2022, she performed the solo timpani in Mark Berry's "Mehteran" at the 20th International Northern Cyprus Music Festival. He took part in the Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestra in the 2017-2018 season. Since 2018, he has been working as a Timpani/Percussion artist in the TRNC Presidential Symphony Orchestra, a Percussion artist in the Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra, and a Timpani/Percussion artist in the Fazıl Say Festival Orchestra, and is an artist of the Italian baguette/malet company “MG Mallets”.

Buğra Kutbay, wind instruments

Born in Samsun in 2001, Buğra Kutbay completed his primary and secondary school education in Samsun. At a young age, he was greatly influenced by the performances of the drum and zurna masters who were immigrants from Thessaloniki at weddings in their villages, and he became acquainted with wind instruments. He started music when he was 12 years old, when he came across an old zurna that his uncle had given him from an old reed house. After meeting Raif Demirci, he started working on wind instruments such as Kaval, Mey, Duduk, Ney, Tütek and Sipsi. He met and had the opportunity to work one-on-one with performers such as Halil ÇOKYÜREKLİ and Hüseyin GEÇER.

He graduated from Samsun İlkadım Fine Arts High School and then won the Ankara Music and Fine Arts University - Faculty of Performance Arts - Instrument Education Department. During his university education, he took lessons from academician-musicians such as Hakkı Alper MARAL, Yunus EMRE, Sinan AYYILDIZ, Erberk ERYILMAZ, Önder ÖZKOÇ. In 2016, he won the TRT Ankara Radio Youth Choir Instrument Artist exam. In 2023, he graduated from Ankara Music and Fine Arts University - Faculty of Performance Arts / Instrument Education Department as the top student.

In addition to domestic festivals and project concerts, he took part as a performer in festivals held in Mongolia and France. He took the stage with Zurna virtuosos such as Samir Kurtov and Lüleburgazlı Küçük Hasan. He took the stage as a soloist in works written for orchestras such as the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, State Polyphonic Choir, and Gedik Philharmonic Orchestra.

Kutbay is currently studying for his master's degree at the Faculty of Performing Arts at Ankara Music and Fine Arts University and is working as a guest lecturer.
