Semplice Quartet

Semplice Quartet, which was deemed worthy of the Chamber Music Group of the Year award at the 2016 Donizetti Classical Music Awards, has proven to be a long-term and distinctive ensemble since 2009 with its successful concert performances, interest in all periods from Baroque to present and projects that interact with all disciplines of art. The ensemble, which made a name for itself with the concert it gave at the Royal Academy of Brussels, went to the USA in 2010 and gave concerts with Lenny Matcznyski within the scope of the "Young Artist" program with a scholarship provided by Apple Hill Chamber Music Center, gaining experience. Semplice Quartet, which also places importance on social responsibility projects, has also performed with explanations in order to introduce and endear classical music to children, by carrying out joint projects with the Bosch Young Classicists Festival, IMM City Theaters and Afyonkarahisar Classical Music Festival. The ensemble, which draws attention with its multi-faceted works; has been invited to the Istanbul Music Festival many times, received an offer from the Aix-en-Provence Festival in France with the reference of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, had the chance to work and give concerts with Prof. Johannes Meissl, Head of the Chamber Music Department at the Universitat für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien, and received chamber music training for two years. The Semplice Quartet builds its vision on the idea of collaborating with different artists, contributing to social responsibility projects, representing our country abroad, but most importantly, continuing the pleasure they get from making music together and transferring this pleasure to their audience.
